The Nightmare, the first of our Metal-Styled guitars. How can you go wrong with a classic Explorer type of style? This style is so metal that D.H. Peligro of the Dead Kennedy's and Peligro fame chose this model to base his Signature Dirty Dream model off of.
A set-neck, full solid Mahogany body, and neck with reverse 6 Dream-Angled Headstock is the start of the Nightmare. The body starts out as a soild piece of 1.75" Mahogany that is carved into the Traditional Explorer Shape. To give it a little bit of it's own flare, there is a bit of a Tail-Fin contour along with a belly cut and forearm relief. Add in a Quilted Maple top to help with the attack, and then tie this into the solid Mahogany neck that is a 21 jumbo fret wonder, with a 25.5" scale with a Rosewood Fingerboard, and you can tell that the sustain and resonance is going to be a beast.
Routed right into the body is a pair of Seymour Duncan Active Blackouts that really let the Nightmare scream.

It uses a Tune-O-Matic Bridge and is a string-through body to really help increase the sustain. It is also available with a real Floyd Rose EVH tremelo. Sorry Floyd Rose Versions currently sold out.
It features a traditional 3 way toggle switch to switch from Neck/Both/Bridge positions and has a mini kill-switch to enable those quick metal stutters.
