We had JT of Hawthorne Heights ask for a custom version of our Twangbucker, and here it is the Skelecaster.
The Skelecaster - Is simply a custom painted and slightly modified version of our Twangbucker or Twang. It starts off with our same single-piece Swamp Ash Body, with those beautifully contured curves of the forearm cut and the belly relief and the same Hard Maple neck, but this is where she changes things up.
Instead of a pair of Single Coil pick-ups like the Twang, the Skelecaster uses a pair of real Seymour Duncan Humbuckers like the Twangbucker. With a Seymour Duncan SH -2 Jazz Model in the Neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB in the Bridge Both with the Chrome cover . With this pairing of pickups, the Skelecaster gives you all the growl and tone you could want.
The headstock has a 42mm real bone nut and 6 inline locking tuners make sure that once your TwangBucker is in tune, she stays there for the whole show.
For the bridge, t features a Tune-o-matic Bridge with Stop Bar. Add on the Vintage Cream Hat style control knobs and switch cover for a little bit of Vintage flair and you have a real unique guitar.
